Loretto Uniform Exchange (Second-hand)

Whether it's a new blazer, a tennis top or some astro boots, Loretto's incredible Uniform Exchange shop covers all year groups from Pre-school to Upper 6th.

Opening Hours

15:00 – 17:00

15:00 – 17:00

15:00 – 17:00

10:00 – 12:00

During holidays and outwith these times, the shop is open by appointment only. To make an appointment please email lueshop@loretto.com

The shop will also be open in the run-up to each new term, depending on volunteer availability (see website and social media for specific dates).

Appointments are required for fitting and purchase of full uniform, as we generally allow one hour per pupil. Pupils do not require an appointment for other purchases but may have to wait a short time if busy. For everyone else, appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome for drop offs and purchases.

If you would like us to check if we have a particular item in stock, please email lueshop@loretto.com

The shop is located in the Estates Yard (Pinkie Campus, Linkfield Road, Musselburgh, EH21 7AF) where the School minibuses are parked. Click here to view the Loretto School Campus map.

No parking is permitted within the yard so please park on the main road. Walk through the black metal gates onto Pinkie Drive then turn immediately left and through the archway. You will then see the sign for the shop to your right under the black staircase in the yard.

We sell all current regulation uniform plus sports footwear, golf clothing and footwear, old regulation for civvies/skiing, and equipment including hockey and lacrosse sticks, shin guards, rugby padding, scrum caps and cricket gear to name just a few. We even have a karate suit and several sets of golf clubs!

We also stock a range of new items (red socks, games socks, kilt socks, ties, cravats and games bags) including gumshields.

If you are leaving or just having a clear out before the holidays, please remember about us! Drop offs can be done any time during opening hours without an appointment.

We ask that all uniform brought to us is clean and in a saleable condition (we do not wash or repair but do have some spare buttons). For accepted items, you'll get 50% of sale price back, with the other 50% being invested back into school projects. We have raised nearly £100,000 to date.

Anything which is non-regulation, un-saleable (marked or damaged) or which remains in stock over three years will be recycled or donated to charity unless collected.

We do accept non-regulation sports items on behalf of SOS Kit Aid, an organisation that recycles sports kit for the benefit of young people in the UK and overseas.
